![]() Casa Nova Cherry Cider is about to hit the shelves of thirteen NSLC locations across the province! Our award winning Cherry Cider is made in the beautiful village of Bear River with only premium Nova Scotian ingredients. Bear River is known through time for their cherries, and more often, the annual Cherry Carnival. Back in 1780, it became known that Cherry Trees would fare well and later in 1893 George Wells decided to make it a celebration as a thank you to all the working men and women from the area. The Cherry Carnival is still a very popular annual event in Bear River, now on its 126th year. The event is now a well deserved fundraiser for the communities hard working fire department. Although there are few cherry trees remaining in the area, we take pride in celebrating our local traditions and culture with each beverage we make. Cheers! Casa Nova's Cherry Cider will be available at the following NSLC locations as of June 3rd
