Meet Our Team

Casa Nova Fine Beverages is a collaboration of three people, namely Brendan Enright, Karen Enright and Piers Greenwood. 
​All three are well versed in vineyard and winery operations and bring separate but equally valued talents to the business.

BRENDAN ENRIGHT

​Brendan, with his wife Karen, started their own vineyard/winery in 2005 in Bear River, NS.  Learning viticulture and oenology from the ground up and training with some of the finest winemakers in Canada, he developed his own line of unique beverages over the course of eight years and brought home 35+ high ranking medals from national and international competitions. In 2013 Brendan moved to the cider industry and has become a well known cider maker in this province.  Brendan is excited to now be producing wines and ciders with this new team.

KAREN ENRIGHT

​Karen grew up in the culinary, arts and music world before studying to become a legal and insurance advisor, a position she has held with an international company for several decades.  Karen’s culinary expertise will be utilized in the development of a new on site bistro planned for the property. She will also manage the business of Casa Nova. She is excited this new project  and is looking forward to working with the team.

PIERS GREENWOOD

​Piers hails from the UK where in just the last 5 years alone, he won “The English Winemaker of the Year Trophy”, 3 times in 2013, 2015 and 2016. Along with 5 Best in Class Trophies, 7 Gold Medals and 18 Silver Medals, for his Traditional Method Sparkling, Still White and Rosé wines.   Having planted his first vineyard in the UK in 1969, Piers gained the reputation of being a visionary with extraordinary talent.  He brings with him decades of experience and knowledge in viticulture and oenology.  His extensive experience in traditional method sparkling wine will be a great asset to Casa Nova Fine Beverages and he is looking forward to working with this new team.
